Use a unique password for this app. Don't reuse a password from any other site or service. We hash your password with bcrypt before storage, but no app is invulnerable. If you forget it, you'll reset by answering security questions (we don't send password emails).

Pick five different questions and remember your answers. To reset your password later you'll need to answer at least three of them correctly. We accept any case and trim spaces.

Log your sleep, caffeine, medications, work shifts, and other inputs. The app runs peer-reviewed biomathematical models (Åkerstedt three-process, UMP caffeine PK/PD, McCauley chronic-restriction adaptation) to estimate how alert or impaired you'll be across the next day, and flags risky windows so you can adjust your schedule or naps.

Everything stays on your account. Alert Responder produces population-model estimates, not medical advice. Don't use it for safety-critical decisions on its own. Consult a sleep medicine specialist for chronic sleep problems and a prescriber for any medication question.
